Reprint Ltd is pleased to announce the launch of its new fully automatic in-line screen printer the R29 Spectrum at Bias 2004 in Milan. The R29 Spectrum further extends the R29 series range and can be seen on Reprint's Italian distributors (Frimo Elettronica Srl) stand no B13-19 / C14-20 in Hall 8 at Bias 2004 in Milan from September 14th - 17th. Reprint has developed the R29 Spectrum to set new levels for price-performance and productivity. Aimed at medium to high end users, the R29 Spectrum is completely flexible, stylish in design and has the smallest footprint of any machine in its category. It also offers the lowest of ownership costs through highly automated and innovative features. Print quality is enhanced with two flexible under stencil cleaning system option's and a state-of-the-art servo motor control system. The simple-to-use yet sophisticated automatic vision alignment system coupled with a new dual camera system developed by Reprint, uses a combination of stored and live images to align the board with the stencil and which recognises both standard board features or dedicated fiducials. Thus providing seamless alignment and giving the machine its high quality printing accuracy. Able to accept 29" x 29" and 29" (736mm) x 32" (812mm) stencil frames as standard (Universal frame adaptor available for smaller stencils). The R29 Spectrum has the capacity to handle board sizes from 50 x 25mm to 608 x 540mm with print speeds of up to 200mm/sec and print pressures up to 20kgs. Designed for minimal maintenance, protection is provided to moving parts to minimise contamination from pastes and other printable material debris. Bespoke Reprint software and Microsoft Windows XP user interface provides intuitive operation of all the R29 Spectrum's functions and features and incorporates a maintence and diagnostic menu to minimise down time and provide fast fault-finding and testing of all areas of the machine.
