The R29 Spectrum fully automatic screen printer from Reprint launched in Milan at BIAS 2004 last September is now in production. Interest in the machine has exceeded all expectations and we are in discussion with several OEMs who are interested in adding the machine to their portfolios. Firm orders have been received and our production schedule is full for both February and March. We are very pleased with how the business is progressing and looking forward to a very successful 2005. The R29 Spectrum further extends Reprint's R29 range and expands its ever -growing high reputation for providing well designed top quality screen printing equipment Reprint has developed the R29 Spectrum to set new levels for productivity, price-performance and to offer the lowest of ownership costs through highly automated and innovative features. Aimed at medium to high end users, the R29 Spectrum is completely flexible, stylish in design and has one of the smallest footprints of any machine in its category. Print quality is enhanced with flexible under screen cleaning system options and a state-of-the-art servo motor control system. The simple-to-use yet sophisticated automatic vision alignment system gives the machine its high quality printing accuracy. Reprint has developed a dual camera system that uses a combination of stored and live images to align the board with the stencil which recognises standard board features or dedicated fiducials to provide seamless alignment. The system has the capacity to handle board sizes from 50 x 25mm to 608 x 540mm with print speeds up to 200mm/sec and print pressures up to 20Kg. Designed for minimal maintenance, protection is provided to moving parts to minimise contamination from pastes and other material debris. A Windows XPâ based user interface provides intuitive operation of all the R29 Spectrum's functions and features and incorporates a maintenance and diagnostic menu to minimise down time and provide fast fault-finding and testing of all areas of the machine. With a comprehensive specification and high build quality, the R29 Spectrum is supported by a worldwide agent and distributor network and aims to deliver first class performance with maximum return on investment. |
